The My souls library and Settings, explained

My souls lists every soul you have forged on this iPhone, tied to an anonymous device ID rather than an account. Settings lets you switch between English and Chinese, turn notifications on or off, read the privacy policy and terms, contact the team, withdraw AI consent and delete all your data.

My souls is your library: every soul forged on this iPhone, with its name, the forge that made it and, where there is one, its type. Settings is where you control the app: language, notifications, AI consent, legal pages, contact and a full data delete. Neither needs an account, because AgentSoul keys everything to an anonymous ID on your device.

The My souls library

Open My souls. A line at the top tells you how many souls are on this device. Each entry shows:

  • The soul’s name, or “Untitled soul” if it has not been named.
  • For Gao Dao souls, the Enneagram type, shown as Type 1 to Type 9. Flash Forge souls have no type number.
  • The forge that made it: Flash Forge, Gao Dao or, in future, Deep Forge.
  • “Reading…” while a forge is still in progress, so you can leave and come back.

Tap a soul to reopen its result, read a Gao Dao deep report, or get its four files again. The button at the bottom, “Forge a new soul”, starts another forge. You can keep more than one, for example one forged from work chats, another from a Gao Dao conversation about family life, and compare how the agent changes.

Where your souls live

The library carries a plain warning: souls are stored only on this device, and deleting the app deletes them too, so send the files to your computer first. There is no sign-in and no cloud backup of souls. The souls are linked to a random device identifier, and the server stores only a one-way hash of it, never your name or email. That keeps the app simple and private, at the cost of portability, so make sending files to your computer part of your routine.

Settings, item by item

  • Language: switch between English and Simplified Chinese. The whole interface changes, including the sample chats in Flash Forge. Gao Dao itself always speaks Chinese.
  • Notifications: “Tell me when a soul is ready”. If you have turned notifications off in iOS Settings, the app tells you and offers a shortcut to iOS Settings.
  • AI processing by Google: shows whether you have allowed your content to be sent to Google’s Gemini API, with a Withdraw button.
  • Privacy policy and Terms of service: the full legal texts.
  • Contact us: reaches the team at hello@agentsoul.market.
  • Delete my data: the full reset, explained below.

At the bottom you will find the app’s full name, “AgentSoul: Enneagram for Bots · 干将”, the publisher Innovatorly Ltd, and the version number, which is useful if you ever write in about a problem.

Changing the language does not change souls you have already forged; their files stay in the language they were written in. New forges follow the language you are using at the time.

Tap Withdraw next to AI processing by Google and the status changes to “Not allowed yet”. From then on, the app will not send screenshots or conversation text to Google Gemini until you see the consent screen again and tap “Agree and continue”. Withdrawing does not delete souls you already have; it only governs what happens next.

A simple routine for keeping souls safe

Because souls live only on this iPhone, a small habit saves a lot of regret:

  1. Right after a forge you like, open the soul, tap “Get the four files” and send them to your computer.
  2. Keep one folder per soul on the computer, so later edits never overwrite the original.
  3. Before you change phones, reset your iPhone or delete the app, check that every soul you care about has been sent.
  4. If a soul shows “Reading…” for a long time, open it; the reading screen keeps checking and lets you try again.

Once the files are on your computer, they are yours to edit, version and reuse, whatever happens to the app.

Delete my data

“Delete my data” permanently deletes everything on AgentSoul’s servers linked to this device: all your souls with their four files and deep reports, your Gao Dao conversations, and your notification settings together with the device’s anonymous ID. You tick “I understand my data can’t be recovered” and tap “Delete permanently”.

Files you have already sent to your computer are not affected. It cannot be undone, so if you might want a soul later, send its files first.

Questions

Can I see my souls on a new iPhone?

No. There is no account or cloud sync, so souls stay with the device that forged them. Send the files to your computer to keep them.

Does withdrawing AI consent delete my souls?

No. Withdrawing consent stops anything new being sent to Google Gemini until you agree again. To remove stored data, use “Delete my data”.

How do I contact the AgentSoul team?

Tap “Contact us” in Settings, or email hello@agentsoul.market.
