Gao Dao 高导 asks one question before the conversation begins: what kind of agent should it help you configure? There are six answers, from a personal assistant to a family calendar. Your choice shapes what Gao Dao asks about and the agent configuration you get, while the result always comes as the same four files.
Why the agent type matters
An Enneagram type describes you. An agent configuration describes how an AI should work with you in a particular part of your life. The same Type 6 might want a work assistant that flags risks early, and a family calendar that keeps everyone calm. Telling Gao Dao the context up front lets it ask about the moments that matter for that agent, and lets the finished soul carry advice that fits.
You will see the effect most clearly in the free in-depth report. Its last chapter, the AI agent collaboration guide, offers guidance shaped by the card you picked, along with agent priorities and the platforms the configuration is aimed at. The Enneagram reading itself still comes from what you share about yourself, so choosing a card never forces a particular type.
The six agent types
Personal assistant, 我的个人助理
An AI that understands how you communicate, decide and react. Choose this for an everyday assistant that should know when to be brief, when to push back, and what tends to set you off.
Work & study, 工作与学习
Focus, task tracking and handling pressure, at your pace. Choose this if you want an agent that helps you plan, keeps you on track without nagging, and knows how you behave under deadlines.
Professional agent, 专业 Agent 配置
Soul files for Claude Code, OpenClaw and similar agents. Choose this if you build with agent harnesses and want a character for a coding or operations agent. The files go into your project or workspace like any other configuration.
Child’s study buddy, 孩子的学习伙伴
A patient, encouraging learning companion for a child. The app is rated 13+, so a parent runs the conversation; Gao Dao learns how you encourage, worry and set limits, and the result is a starting point you then adapt for your child.
Family calendar, 家庭日程管家
Smoother family logistics with less friction. Choose this for an agent that coordinates schedules, reminders and the many small negotiations of family life in a tone that suits your household.
Not sure yet, 还不确定
Just talk with Gao Dao first and see what type you are. This is the open door: no assumptions about the agent, just a conversation about you. You still receive the four files and can shape them later.
What stays the same
- Up to 12 questions about real moments in your life, asked one at a time, in Chinese.
- Hold-to-talk voice input, recognised on the iPhone itself.
- An Enneagram type, wing and archetype name, shown on the Enneagram figure (the app’s sigil) with your type and wing marked.
- Four files: soul.md, identity.md, user.md and agents.md.
- A free in-depth report, the 高导深度报告, with an AI agent collaboration guide.
- The full conversation is not stored, only the summary used to build your result.
Choosing well
Pick the card for the agent you will actually use next week. If you plan to drop the files into a coding agent, Professional agent is the natural fit. If you want a companion for daily life, Personal assistant or Work & study will steer the questions toward the right moments. If you are mostly curious, Not sure yet is perfectly good. You can always forge again with a different card, and each soul is kept in your My souls library on this device.
Questions
Can I change the agent type after I start?
The type is chosen before the conversation begins. If you want a different focus, start a new conversation and pick another card.
Does the agent type change my Enneagram result?
Your type comes from what you share about yourself, not from the card you chose. The card steers the questions and the agent configuration advice.
Which type should I choose if I just want to try it?
Choose Not sure yet. It is designed for people who want to talk with Gao Dao first and see what type they are.
